Which is really weird, as I am also a certified medicinal herbalist, certified hypnotherapist and Reiki practitioner. Lately Beads N Botanicals, our storefront in Urbana, IL, has been getting mentioned a lot on local news shows and in newspapers. Another paper bead making class is scheduled for Thursday, July 9.

CHAMPAIGN — The biggest obstacle for people who might want to move forward
in life is that they don't give themselves enough options.

That's where Catherine Novak comes in.

She reads tarot cards, among other things. She has used the tarot seriously as a counseling tool for the past 20 or so years but began reading them earlier, when she was in high school in New Jersey.

"I just present information and try to do it as honestly as I can with what I see in the cards," she said. "I don't always tell people what they want to hear but what might be coming up."
